Servus in Austria, exploring the nature, taking my guests on tours to places "seen through the eyes of the locals" - in a respectful way - that's my passion. I was born and raised in Salzburg and after high school and my education in tourism & travel business I moved to Lake Wolfgangsee into the heart of the Salzburg Lake District Area in 1990. Together with my family I live in the village of Strobl. I personal love beeing out in the nature, exploring and doing different activities in the seasons all year round (hiking, cycling, climbing, snowshoe-hiking, ski-mountaineering). The natural beauty with it's 76 Lakes and the surrounding mountains, the history and culture as well as the people made me feel like home. I live my profession as a Nature-Tour-Guide. This wonderful life in our natural world I would like to show to my guests within my tours. Rudi is a great guide, knowledgeable about the Salzburg area, easy to spend the day with, kind, and attentive to his clients. If you are looking for a day hike in country outside of Salzburg, my wife and I would highly recommend him!

Our family had a great day with Rudi. He was a very friendly, passionate Austrian and happily shared his local area with us. He included a small walk in the snow to a local hutt for lunch, hot soup on a cold day was perfect.

Rudi is a terrific tour guide. We combined walking in Salzburg with a drive through the lakes ending with his dropping me off in Hallstatt where I was staying for couple of days. With many years experience, Rudi is not only knowledgeable about history and culture but also is a hiking and mountaineering guide, which matched my interests in having an outdoor experience. ...
