Private Celtic Tour - Salzburg to Hallstatt

This was our second tour with Bernhard while in Austria. Going to Hallstatt and the lake country was beautiful and another great way to experience other landscapes of Austria. I can see why so many people want to go to see Hallstatt, such a peaceful and beautiful place. We were able to eat lunch in Hallstatt as well and it was great, so relaxing and enjoyable. Bernhard, had a lot of knowledge to share and to take us off the beat and path to explore areas only the locals would know. For a short time we felt like we were locals, enjoying the beautiful places. I would highly recommend taking Bernhard for this tour, you and your family will not be disappointed. A once in a lifetime experience.

Our tour with Bernhard was such a fun and magical day! He totally embraced the charm of Austria and was enthusiastic to share his country and it’s beauty with us. My cousin and I have been traveling for four weeks and this was by far the most fun and informative tour we have taken. I highly recommend Bernhard and any tour he might offer.

Bernd was a fantastic guide. Impeccably dressed in traditional attire. He was very knowledgeable about all things Austrian, and the Lakes and Salzburg. The car was immaculate and well driven. We had some bad weather but Bernd adjusted the tour itinerary to accommodate this and our personal preferences. Definitely five stars and will refer our friends who may visit Salzburg.

Bernhard was a fantastic guide! He catered this tour to exactly what we wanted, was hospitable, friendly, and funny, and we felt at ease with him right away. His English was excellent, as was his knowledge about Salzburg, The Sound of Music movie, and the Lake District. Bernhard was a careful driver and efficient driver, we felt completely safe during the entire trip. He knew several shop owners and showed us areas of Hallstatt that visitors frequently miss (I don't want to spoil the secret museum surprise- but it was a HIGHLIGHT of our tour)! This tour was one of the favorite things we did during our 8 days in Austria. Even our teen son was engaged the entire time. We can't wait to return to beautiful Salzburg!
