Castle Neuschwanstein Full day tour from Salzburg can even end in Munich

We used Didi to transfer us from Salzburg to Munich with a stop to visit Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle and lunch in the town of Füssen. He accommodated the schedule to what we wanted to do and see. The entire trip was smooth and seamless except for a lost passport. Didi was so helpful and supportive. We learned so much from him and grateful for all the tips to get our bearings in Munich. Thanks Didi for a wonderful time.

Didi was very knowledgeable and helpful in accommodating our desires for sightseeing and traveling to a different city for drop off. He even ordered our castle tickets ahead of time for us when I had trouble ordering them. I deducted 1 star for being late at pick up. We had arranged ahead of time by message to meet at 8 but he arrived at 820. He did work very hard to make up that time so we could still accomplish all we had planned.

This was our 3rd private tour with Didi - starting from Salzburg and ending at Munich, visiting Neuschwanstein, Linderhof, Oberammergau and other beautiful countryside scenery along the way. What an excellent trip with Didi! He made arrangements for the castle and arrived on time, gave us clear instruction on how to navigate. He shares local culture, history, and tells the stories about the royal families. We would work with Didi again if coming back to the area and beyond.

Great informative guide who gave us a lovely tour of Bavaria - castles, countryside, customs - everything you would want to see and learn. This must be one of the most spectacular scenery in Europe - snow covered alps and story book castles and picture perfect villages!

Utilizing ToursByLocals was without question the best decision we could have made for our recent trip. Our guide was Dietmar (Didi). He did a remarkable job putting together a custom tour itinerary that both accommodated our travel requirements and allowed us to see multiple points of interests in the comfort of a well-appointed van.
