Hi everyone! My name is Carlos and I live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, Salzburg. Home of Mozart and the Sound of Music, where culture, history and architecture are surrounded by the majestic Alps and the breathtaking Lake District. Drive along the emerald-green Fuschlsee and stop at its castle; take a picture from a great view point above the town of St Gilgen where Mozart's mother was born. Visit the town of Bad Ischl the former summer residence of the emperor Franz Josef. You will have 2. 5 hours to explore Hallstatt, where you can explore all the hidden gems and of course the must-sees and enjoy 7000 years of history. Your Salzburg tour itinerary
- This is a great excursion for anyone who loves incredible scenery and history. - Escape Salzburg for a private excursion to Hallstatt. Journey along the emerald-green Fuschlsee to our first stop at Castle Fuschl. Travel on to St. Gilgen and take a stunning photo of the beautiful scenery from a great view point. - Leaving St Gilgen and driving along the Wolfgangsee our trip will bring us to Bad Ischl, famous for its spa and the Emperor's summer palace. - Driving through Bad Goisern we will reach one of the highlights of our tour, Hallstatt: the pearl of the Lake District. - In Hallstatt I will point out all the hidden gems as well as the must-sees of Hallstatt, you will have 2 hours to explore Hallstatt as well as to have lunch in one of the beautiful lake side restaurants in Hallstatt (at your own expense). - On our way home from Hallstatt, the Gosausee with its backdrop of the glistening Dachstein glacier awaits us for a short stop.
