I am proud to work as a tourist guide and love to show you my favorite places and sights! And maybe YOU will will find YOUR favorite place here, too. I have guided visitors from all over the world through the beautiful province of Salzburg since 2008. Originally I am from Styria ("The Green Heart of Austria") but my studies in interior architecture and work in the tourist industry as a tour guide and incoming operator initially took me to Amsterdam and then to New York City and Los Angeles for almost two decades. Salzburg became my new home in 1997! The combination of nature and culture convinced me and my family to move into this area. The city optimally meets my expectations of a place with international flair and interesting history. I would be delighted to introduce you to the variety that Salzburg has to offer, the historical locations in Salzburg, the customs and traditions of Salzburg and its people along with plenty of unique and special places…. . Austria Guide certificate Most tours will be walking tours. But I can arrange for a private car and driver if requested or needed for some tours. I also can accompany you in your vehicle.

Join me on a walking tour through the historic center of Salzburg, the perfect introduction to this charming city! Begin with a visit to the impressive Hohensalzburg Fortress, a 900-year-old medieval landmark and enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the Alps. Explore the fortress’s well-preserved 15th-century state rooms and hear fascinating stories that bring this iconic site to life. Next, we’ll stroll through the historic center, crossing both sides of the river, and explore areas away from the busy streets. Visit the Sebastian Cemetery with the grand mausoleum of Prince Archbishop Wolf Dietrich von Raitenau. Other sites will be the Mozart Museum, Salzburg Dom, and Residence Square to deepen your understanding of the city’s cultural heritage. Relax in the beautiful Mirabell Garden, renowned for its stunning floral displays. Along the way, I’ll recommend places for local souvenirs and delicious Austrian cuisine. Don’t miss this chance to experience Salzburg’s fascinating past!
