Hello my dear guests, I was born and raised in Salzburg. I did my University in Kufstein, Austria. Since my studies I was doing tour guiding. I lived for about 10 years in northern Italy (close to Milan) where I wrote my theses, worked there in a company and did my license for becoming a tour guide in the region of Lombardia. My wife brought me back to Salzburg where I immediately did my license for tour guiding and also for being able to drive the people around. My passion is it to concentrate and learn more about my guests and fulfill their interest and giving you a great time during your vacation. Looking forward welcoming and hosting you in Salzburg, Munich, Linz, Vienna, or Innsbruck I am a licensed Austria guide. I have the license of driving the people around (please check for the M behind the windscreen and in the usage of the car must be code one from 22-31). All licenses can be checked any time and are carried with in the car or personally. I am Austria Guide for english, italian and german and I have a panorama glass roof van limousine service.

Explore and dive into the world of King Ludwig who always wanted to remain a mystery. We will see the palace of Neuschwanstein, that was inspired by Wagner's operas and later inspired Disney. We visit it without having to worry about the tickets. We will have special access to not having to worry about lines, reserving in advance and not being able to get tickets inside. From Spring until late Autumn we will be able to see it from the Mary's bridge (the best view of the palace of Neuschwanstein) I love showing you this area and dive with you into this world and maybe understand more about this guy. This tour also allows me to show you the best of Bavaria with all of it's traditions, hard working people and proudness for their regions. You will understand why people are the way they are and why so many spectacular artists and creations come from this area. You will see small villages but also great locations and nature. I love to show it to you because it always creates different memories and idea
This tour with Bernie was the highlight of our trip. He was so knowledgable and our two teenagers (17 and 13) are still talking about the historical stories they heard from Bernie. He recommended a lovely lunch spot, was extremely organized and punctual and was a delight to spend the day with! Don’t miss the opportunity to tour with Bernie! We had a day that we will always remember!
Due to a last minute emergency, our two day tour was conducted by Peter, a close colleague of Bernhard. Peter was Fantastic; Professional, Collegial, Warm and Welcoming. Peter is very flexible with the itinerary and happy to change plans as the tour progressed. Peter is a wealth of knowledge and happy chat for hours or simply permit the scenery to speak for itself. Peter is simply a fun guy with whom to hang-out. The vehicle was clean, new and well maintained with sufficient space for 4 adults and loads of baggage. I would highly recommend Bernard / Peter for any tour length 1/2day to multiple day.
Bernhard was an amazing tour guide and we enjoyed our day with him tremendously! He shared great detail about the history of the area, provided insights about local current culture, and was very personable. The tour he provided was well planned and organized and we would highly recommend him for other tours!
We really wanted to see Neuschwanstein and Linderhof on a recent family trip to Salzburg, and engaged Bernhard to take us, as we were without car. In addition to seeing the Castles, we had a great time traveling between Salzburg and Germany taking in the countryside and had a wonderful lunch at a brewery with a view of Neuschwanstein. Our guide was very fun to spend the day with (in fact, this was not our only day with Bernhard) and he gave us so much history and information about the areas we were passing through. Learning about a place different from where we live is one of the great joys of travel. He is a thoughtful and kind person and very knowledgeable; spending time with a seasoned guide adds so much to a vacation. Very highly recommend Bernhard.
We had a great day with Bernd visiting the Neuschwanstein castle and surrounding area. He was fantastic in handling all of the logistics--making sure we had reserved tickets, parking, making sure we got to the castle in time for our (very prompt) tour, and was so patient in snapping photos of our family along the way. We would definitely recommend Bernd and this day trip to anyone.
