Hello my dear guests, I was born and raised in Salzburg. I did my University in Kufstein, Austria. Since my studies I was doing tour guiding. I lived for about 10 years in northern Italy (close to Milan) where I wrote my theses, worked there in a company and did my license for becoming a tour guide in the region of Lombardia. My wife brought me back to Salzburg where I immediately did my license for tour guiding and also for being able to drive the people around. My passion is it to concentrate and learn more about my guests and fulfill their interest and giving you a great time during your vacation. Looking forward welcoming and hosting you in Salzburg, Munich, Linz, Vienna, or Innsbruck I am a licensed Austria guide. I have the license of driving the people around (please check for the M behind the windscreen and in the usage of the car must be code one from 22-31). All licenses can be checked any time and are carried with in the car or personally. I am Austria Guide for english, italian and german and I have a panorama glass roof van limousine service.

This tour will combine spectacular mountains, crystal clear waters, gentile people, untouched nature and history. From the city of Salzburg we will pass by the city of Hallein, where one of the co-composers of the Christmas carol "Silent night" was buried. Let me take you to Bad Dürrnberg, where the history of the celts and a 5000 years old history of salt mining become alive. You have the possibility to see the saltmines, fun for children and older children. Enjoy wearing a miners suite and slide down the old slides, as the miners used to do. Then continue to pass the boarder to Germany to the Obersalzberg, the summer residence of Hitler. Lots of history waits for you and see the Hitler's eagle's nest on top of the mountain (only accessible between May and October) and enjoy a summer toboggan ride before seeing the village of Berchtesgaden, with a summer residence of the Bavarian kings. See then crystal clear lakes bedded in the mountains: quietness and views that you want to remember for long time!
The tour whisks away from the city to the beautiful mountain area south west of Salzburg. Passing by the second biggest town, called Hallein in the area of Salzburg we will drive to Bad Dürrnberg, where celtic people lived 5000 years ago and you can enter the Saltmines (extra entrance fee). Then we'll drive through a panoramic road to the bavarian mountain skyline and end up at the Obersalzburg where you can visit the Kehlsteinhaus (Hitler's eagle's nest: only between may and October accessible) or the Documentation center (both extra fee). We will make a stop at the village of Berchtesgaden - a typical alpine village and a wonderful castle of Ludwig I where you also have time for a lunch before going to one of the mountain lakes. You have then the possibility to see the Lake Hinter (a small and crystal clear watered mountain lake) or the King's lake (one of the most famous lakes in the area and also visible from the top of Eagle's Nest), bedded in the middle of mountains. Enjoy a short hike along the lake.

You will be driven with a glass-roof air-conditioned Mercedes van, or our Jaguar SUV, or Jaguar limousine (depending on the number of passengers.)
