Hallstatt and the Hills are Alive - From Salzburg - Full Day

Patrick is the BEST! What a day he arranged for us. We got to see all of the sights tied to the film, which by itself would have been an incredible day. But there was so much more---He provided the greatest intro to Salzburg and the surrounding areas. This was topped off by our visit to Hallstatt, which could not be more amazing. Patrick surprised us with lunch reservations at a restaurant by the lake. And when I say "by the lake," I mean literally at the edge of the water. Take my advice---choose Patrick! You will thank me! Thank you, Patrick---from your new friends (and biggest fans) from Arizona!

My sisters and I can't say enough good things about Patrick's all-day Sound of Music and Hallstatt tour. Patrick is a wealth of cultural, historical and entertaining information about Austria in general, Salzburg and Hallstatt in particular - and of course the filming of The Sound of Music. He is kind, funny and thoughtful - anticipating and accommodating our needs and desires and making helpful recommendations and suggestions along the way. We saw the beautiful Austrian countryside and mountain ranges as we drove from Salzburg to Hallstatt and as Patrick answered our questions and pointed out the sites of most interest, all in the comfort of a luxury vehicle. The tour was the most memorable part of an amazing two-week trip in Austria. It was worth every penny and we can't recommend it enough!!

Patrick was a wonderful and insightful guide for us in December. Very knowledgeable of the region and the history and took us to Halstatt too.
