Servus in Austria, exploring the nature, taking my guests on tours to places "seen through the eyes of the locals" - in a respectful way - that's my passion. I was born and raised in Salzburg and after high school and my education in tourism & travel business I moved to Lake Wolfgangsee into the heart of the Salzburg Lake District Area in 1990. Let's explore the countryside and cosy villages in the "Heart of Austria". Period: May to October! The Salzkammergut area is well known for its history (more than 7000 years of salt mining. . . ), as well as it has been the residence of our Emperor Kaiser Franz Joseph. Composers, actors and noble people from all over the world came for their summer holidays. The region became famous and still kept its flair. The amazing landscape with 76 lakes and the high mountains formed the tourism in combination with beautiful sights and all kind of activities possible in nature all sesons of the year. A full day of typical Austrian story! Welcome to a beautiful day at the country side of Austria!
Your Salzburg tour itinerary
Let's explore the countryside and cosy villages in the "Heart of Austria". A short drive outside the city of Salzburg (appr. 30 min. ) the landscapes are changing to a beautiful scenery of lakes and mountains. The little villages are cosy and individual, the houses show their colourful flowers on their balconies. I would like to show and offer to you: - Private Tour along the Lake Fuschlsee and Lake Wolfgangsee - Visit of the villages St. Gilgen (mother of W. A. Mozarts birthplace ) and St. Wolfgang (1000 years history of pilgrims) - Optional: Boat Cruise Wolfgangsee or Steamtrain up to the top of Schafberg peak (1. 784 m) see costs as extra - Optional: Hiking tour or E-Bike cycling tour along the lakeside could be done on your request. The time of duration could be set flexible to your holiday program. Welcome to a beautiful day at the country side of Austria! Please bring cap and windbreaker for the time on the mountain!
