Overview of your Salzburg tour

Experience the beauty of the Austrian Lake District (Salzkammergut) including the UNESCO World Heritage Site Hallstatt, on a 8-hour private tour from Salzburg. Stop at emerald green Lake Fuschl and a beautifully designed view point overlooking St. Gilgen and Lake Wolfgang. Drive through the spa town of Bad Ischl. Then discover Hallstatt on a walking tour (optional visit salt mine). Enjoy free time to stroll, shop, and have lunch (own expense) in lakeside Hallstatt before admiring the Dachstein glacier from Lake Gosau.

Your Salzburg tour itinerary

- Journey along the emerald green Fuschlsee to our first stop at Fuschl Castle. - Travel on to St. Gilgen and take a stunning photo of the beautiful scenery from a great view point. - Leaving St. Gilgen and driving along the Wolfgangsee, our trip will take us to the town of Bad Ischl, famous for its spa and the Emperor's summer palace. - Driving through Bad Goisern, we will reach Hallstatt: the pearl of the Lake District. - In Hallstatt you can choose between a boat ride, taking the panorama funicular railway up the mountain and experiencing the magnificent "World Heritage view" 360 meters above town, from the viewpoint you can continue on to the oldest salt mine in the world. - You also have the option of visiting the Ice Caves or the 5 Fingers viewing platform, which reaches out like a hand over a 400 m drop and is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps. - After your adventure you will have enough time to discover all the hidden gems and must-sees of Hallstatt
