Colorfull spring excursion to the Dutch countryside.
Holland blooms during the spring. Most people have heard about the flower fields and the flower garden "De Keukenhof" South of Amsterdam, but did you know that the largest area of flower fields are actually situated in the North of Holland!?
If the flowerfields is what attracts you most (more then the flowergardens) then I can reccomend joining me on this tour. We will travel to a still unspoiled area where the the flowerfields are large and continues, an open landscape with wide horizons, full of collor.
Of course flowers are not the only thing Holland is famous for. Windmills, beautifull peaceful villages and a people that live below sea level. You can experience it all in this tranquil and authentic full day tour.
My tours are always flexible, you decide what you would like to do or see.
*this tour can not be combined with the keukenhof but a trip there is easily arranged on a different day. It is possible to visit an other smaller tulip garden instead one with unique historic varietys.
- Bulborium, a small botanical garden with historic tulip varieties (optional)
-Lots of flower fields!
-Windmills (including a visit inside one)
-De Beemster, oldest reclamation of the Netherlands.
During this tour we can also visit a wooden shoe factory and/or cheese maker.
*the flower season depends very much upon the weather. I restricted the calendar to reflect the most certain period for flowers to bloom. If you wish to book the tour outside this period please let me know, I can open up more dates.

Elke did a great job finding just what we were looking for. We saw things we would never have found on our own, and we must have asked Elke 200 questions (she had the answers)! Elke really knew her history of the country as well, and it was a very fun day spent with a very nice person!
