Having lived in Anchorage, Alaska, for some 45 years and being a small-business owner for decades, I have traveled worldwide extensively as well as throughout the state of Alaska. Was born and raised and lived for many years in both Norway and Sweden before moving to Alaska. Overview of your Anchorage tour
NOTE: This tour can originate in either Valdez or Anchorage with final destination in any one of the two locations. It is not a round-trip tour. Whether traveling from the cruise ship dock/harbor in Valdez to Anchorage or arranging to be picked up at your location in Anchorage and journeying to Valdez, this tour is the perfect solution to seeing much more of Alaska's scenery and wildlife with your own personal guide. Unlike shuttles and motor coaches, we have free reign to stop virtually anywhere at any time to take a break or capturing images and memories from scenic viewpoints and wildlife that may happen to be along our traverse. If desired, we will make a stop for lunch or snack on the way to our destination.

Flexibility is the key! * Pick-up at cruise ship dock/specified location in Valdez (or location in Anchorage) * Stop at select locations with opportunities to view scenery and wildlife * Opportunity to observe immense mountain ranges, glaciers, and some of the tallest volcanoes on the continent * Witness the highlands, forested valleys, and gorgeous sights of Matanuska Valley, the Copper River Basin, and Thompson Pass up to Prince William Sound * Always a chance to observe black and brown bear, moose, caribou (reindeer), bald eagle, and sea lion, as well as spawning salmon (in season: mid-July to late September) * Drop-off at specified location in Anchorage (or Valdez)
