Having lived in Anchorage, Alaska, for some 45 years and being a small-business owner for decades, I have traveled worldwide extensively as well as throughout the state of Alaska. Was born and raised and lived for many years in both Norway and Sweden before moving to Alaska. Worked in the airline and travel industry for years and display a great joy and passion sharing information related to travel within the state, and possess patience and enthusiasm along with a good dose of positivity! I am easy to get along with, flexible, and will go out of my way to provide for an exceptional and personal learning experience for every tour customer, whom I treat as a personal guest. All of my tours can be customized upon request and always open to new adventures. I am a small business owner specializing in Alaska travel and outdoor activities, including guiding groups of individuals in wilderness settings, and have written or co-authored a half dozen books on specifics regarding the subject. I am also trained in CPR and First Aid. Was employed as a teacher at the University of Alaska for 14 years as well. None

NOTE: This tour can originate in either Anchorage or Denali Park with final destination in any one of the two cities. It is not a round-trip tour, one way only unless specifically requested. In addition, tour can be adjusted to start or end in Whittier or Seward to accommodate traveler(s)--ask me for details. Whether traveling to Denali Park from Anchorage or arranging to be picked up at your location in Denali Park and journeying to a hotel or the airport in Anchorage, this tour is the perfect solution to seeing much more of Alaska's scenery and wildlife with your own personal guide. Unlike trains and motor coaches, we have free reign to stop virtually anywhere at any time to take a break or capturing images and memories from scenic viewpoints and wildlife that may happen to be along our traverse. Stop and soak in the splendor of Mt. Denali/McKinley, North America's tallest peak, along the way and we will make a two-hour stop in Talkeetna for lunch and peruse the old-style town as well.
Note: The tour is subject to accommodating your personal interest and schedule and can be altered or changed upon request. Flexibility is the key! * Pick-up in Anchorage (or Denali Park) * Passage through communities of Eagle River, Wasilla, Houston, Willow, Trapper Creek, and Cantwell * Stop at select locations to view scenery and wildlife * View the immense Alaska Range, including Mt. Denali * Explore the town of Talkeetna and its quaint and laidback atmosphere * Opportunities to see black and brown bear, moose, bald eagle, and caribou * Drop-off in Denali Park (or Anchorage)
