I was born and raised in Alaska like my mother before me. I grew up traveling the state with my father as he worked on construction sites as an engineer. I have a B. A. in political science from the University of Alaska and there is little I don't know about Alaska history and culture. I am part Native-Alaskan (some people call them Eskimo) and know much about that part of my family tree. I am proud to be Alaskan and enjoy sharing my knowledge of the Great Land with visitors from all over the world. Quyana (thanks), Ryan B.A. in Political Science from University of Alaska, Anchorage My Ford transit van seats up to 11 passengers (driver not included). It also has room for luggage for those 11.

Skip the crowded buses and souvenir stops—this small-group Anchorage tour is all about real Alaska. We explore Anchorage’s most iconic sights, hear the stories behind them, and then cap the day the best way possible: gathered around a backyard fire, roasting Alaska reindeer sausages, sharing local beers, and swapping travel stories like old friends. This is Anchorage as locals know it—relaxed, scenic, and unforgettable.

Stroll the boardwalk and keep an eye out for birds, moose, and stunning mountain views. 🌊 Beluga Point One of Alaska’s most dramatic viewpoints. On lucky days, you might spot beluga whales riding the tides below. 🌲 Earthquake Park Learn how the 1964 Great Alaska Earthquake reshaped the land—and the city—while enjoying sweeping views of Cook Inlet.
