Hi, my name is Lesley and it is a pleasure to meet you. I am deeply passionate about Scotland and all things Scottish and I am very proud and privileged to be able to share my beautiful country with visitors from all over the world. I have been working as a tour guide since early 2017 having previously worked as a Police Officer, a job that took me across the lengths and breadths of the country and afforded me the opportunity to learn so much along the way. I am a keen amateur photographer and never tire of photographing this wee country that I live in. There are so many wonderful, wild and mysterious places in Scotland and I would love to be able to share them with you. From the castles and architecture in our ancient cities to the vast expanse of wilderness in our hills and glens, there really is so much to see and explore all with their own myths and folklore. It would be my honor to show you the sights of this amazing wee country, and leave you with memories that will last a lifetime, with lots of fun and laughs along the way. I am a retired Scottish Police Officer and have been a guide since 2017. SITOA Member (Scottish Independent Tour Operators Association) Please note; I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside of historical monuments. I can, however, accompany you inside and provide a brief overview.

This tour will take you south to the breathtakingly beautiful Scott's View, overlooking the Tweed Valley before we take the opportunity to visit the nearby statue of the great Scottish patriot, William Wallace. From here, we travel to Melrose where we visit the ruined Melrose Abbey, founded by the Cistercians in the 12th Century. The Cistercian monks had close connections with the Knights Templar, and legend tells that Melrose Abbey is the burial place of Robert The Bruce's heart, brought back from the crusades in Moorish Spain. After stopping for some lunch in Melrose, we will make our way to the stunning 15th-century Rosslyn Chapel, made infamous in Dan Brown's book, 'Da Vinci Code. Here you have time to explore the chapel and find out more about the myths and legends surrounding the whereabouts of the 'Holy Grail'. Our visit to Rosslyn Chapel is the last stop of the day before journeying back to your hotel or cruise ship port. Customization of this tour is possible upon request.
