Stirling Castle & The Trossachs: Highland Cows, Lochs & Legends

We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Scottish Highlands with Rafal! We were visiting the UK during our daughter’s spring break while she was studying abroad, so our time in Scotland was very limited. Rafal helped us make the absolute most of our time. Our group included three generations, and from the very beginning, Rafal made sure everyone was comfortable, engaged, and having a great time. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and flexible, and he did a fantastic job of personalizing the day around our interests. We loved the Highland cows so much that he made an extra stop so we could see more of them! Rafal was extremely thoughtful even beyond the tour itself. He knew we are huge fans of the Wizarding World and took the time to share some tips about Harry Potter-related locations in Edinburgh that we could visit the following day on our own. That small extra touch meant so much to us and helped us make even more of our limited time in Scotland. Rafal was the perfect guide for our family. He was attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in making sure we had a wonderful experience. We came away with some fantastic memories of Scotland, and we would absolutely recommend Rafal to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and personable guide. If we ever have the opportunity to return to Scotland, we would love to tour with him again!

If you get a chance to tour with Rafal - take it! What a trip - in every way. No one approaches tours with more enthusiasm. Additionally, Rafal gave us the tour we wanted - not the tour he wanted us to have - and even changed things up midway through the trip so I could stop by a yarn store I wanted to see. This is our third "Tours by Local" trip during our stay in Scotland -and Rafal has been the highlight!

This was our introduction to the highlands with my 18 year old grandson and my daughter. The Highlands Cows were a highlight! We loved the visit to the sheep farm with the explanation of all the sheep. Sterling Castle was magnificent. Rafal made the trip very fun and informative. We enjoyed seeing the Kelpies and learning about the legend. A very fun day.

We had a wonderful day with Rafal. He knows it all, even called for Jamie at the Outlander castle. You will have a fun, historical day to remember if you book this tour. And with lots of laughter!

Rafal is a great guide, on time and flexible when needed. Enjoyed 2.5 days with him on this tour and 2 others. Picked us up from Roysth and off we went. after a long day and a great lunch, brought us to our hotel in Edinburgh.
