Hi my name is Dave and like yourself I have a passion for travel. I love to explore and discover the hidden gems that you can find anywhere in the world but sometimes it can take time to find them. That is where a private tour with a knowledgeable local guide stands out. Come with me and I will take you on a voyage of adventure and discovery as we explore the hidden secrets of my beautiful country and its remarkable history. My adventures are suitable for all and can be modified to meet the needs of any group from high activity thrill seekers to the more sedate scenic explorers. Don't worry, even our low activity tours will allow you to explore and discover some hidden gems. As an avid traveller I have experienced many tours and adventures and as such I have a good understanding of what makes a tour stand out. I have used this knowledge and experience in the design all of my tours to provide a fantastic experience for my guests. It is true that adventure and discovery can still be carried out in luxury and comfort and that is my main focus. I look forward to meeting you and your group as we embark on another adventure which has been modified to provide the unique experience you are looking for during your short visit to my incredible country. Now it is time to see Scotland your way. Dave C I am not a licensed guide and will not be able to guide you inside the historic monuments, I will however accompany you and give you my insights where applicable.

This tour is designed to give you a real "Scottish Experience" from our turbulent history and our ancient culture and folklore. Tales of war heroes and mythical creatures will capture your imagination as we walk in the footsteps of giants and the bloody battlefields of a time long gone. We will get up close to beautiful creatures, both mythical and real and sample some of Scotland's famous (or infamous) cuisine as we step into the beauty and serenity that is Scotland's countryside with majestic views of lochs and mountains. We will visit magnificent palaces that will take us back to the days of fantastic feasts in great halls and you will have the chance to enjoy a taste of Scotland's most famous export, The Water of Life. This is about as much a taste of Scotland as you can experience in a single day and will leave you full but still hungry for more.
- From our pick up point we will head into Falkirk and the mythical land of The Kelpies. - As we head towards Bannockburn we will start our bloody journey into the history of Scotland with the tales of great heroes such as William Wallace and Robert The Bruce. -Stirling Castle will be our next location as we discover the stories of the Stewart monarchs including Mary Queen of Scots. - After all this chat of battles and bloodshed we will head out to the peaceful retreat of the Trossachs national park. - Passing through Callander we will visit Baxter, Honey and Hamish, the most photographed hairy coo's in the country, before having a stop in a lovely little country pub for a traditional Scottish lunch. - Full of history and fine cuisine we will take a scenic journey through the stunning Trossachs national park as we start our return journey to Edinburgh for drop off. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
