Hi, I'm Alan, born and bred in Scotland and a local expert for tailor made tours in and around my beautiful country. After many years working in the financial sector in Edinburgh's city centre, I decided to follow my deep-rooted passion for Scotland and all it has to offer, to become a tour guide. I focus on creating individually tailored escapades based on my travellers' personal tastes, using the expertise I gained from over 10 years of touring experience. From rugged mountains and mysterious lochs to the castles and palaces that make up Scotland's rich history, my knowledge and experience of all the hidden gems guarantee that you get the most out of your visit. Whether it's finding the best spot for an Instagram worthy picture, sampling a dram or two at one of our world-renowned distilleries, visiting some of the cult TV series 'Outlander' filming locations, feeding a Highland cow, fine dining or sampling our traditional haggis at a local pub, I'll make sure you experience Scotland at its best. One of the highlights of the work I do is meeting new people from all over the world. My relaxed and friendly approach allows me to not only share my stories but also customize your trip to ensure it meets all your needs. My tours will be carried out in a Mercedes V class so if you want an exclusive and extraordinary adventure in Scotland while travelling in luxury and comfort, I'd love to welcome you on board. Tour guide since 2017 and a whole lifetime of exploring my country and learning about its rich history. Full Driver's licence. My Vehicle can accommodate up to 7 passengers I will not be able to guide you inside any historical sites and monuments. These locations will have their own licensed staff/guides.

On this tour, we'll take in the breathtaking scenery that the Highlands has to offer We will find ourselves driving through the stunning Glencoe Pass with it's rugged mountains and many waterfalls - this is one of the most scenic drives in Scotland. We'll also visit several historic landmarks on our trip, including Doune Castle, St Conan's Kirk and Kilchurn Castle. On our way to Glencoe we will pass through Callander, which is a picturesque town on the banks of the River Teith and where we can feed some Highland cows. From Callander, we will continue north and visit the Falls of Dochart and the mysterious Loch Lubnaig which sits between the 2 majestic mountains, Ben Ledi and Benvane. There'll be a lot of driving on this tour as we look to see as much as we can in a day, but there'll be plenty of stops on the way to grab a coffee, take photos, have lunch and, of course, feed the Highland Cows
· After picking you up at our agreed upon time, we'll head north west to Doune Castle, made famous by the Outlander series and then through the picturesque town of Callander where we will stop to feed the Highland Cows · We will then continue north stopping off at the stunning Loch Lubnaig and the Falls of Dochart before reaching the small hiking village of Tyndrum. There we can grab a coffee at the famous Green Welly Stop. · From there we have the option of visiting the iconic Kilchurn Castle situated in the middle of Loch Awe and the beautiful St Conan's Kirk. - We'll then make our way to the spectacular Glencoe pass, one of Scotlands most spectacular drives, but on the way we will stop off at the Loch Tulla Viewpoint with it's breathtaking views of the Loch and also drive through Rannoch Moor, which is a area of moorland that has the backdrop of the Black Mount. - As we reach the Glencoe pass we will be making many stops to take in the stunning scenery and take some nice pictures!
