Overview of your Edinburgh tour
This 2 day adventure will take us from the central belt of Scotland into the magnificent Highlands. With majestic views from start to finish we will travel into the heart of the Scottish highlands renowned for their beauty and splendour. You will discover the turbulent history of this ancient country and witness sights that will stay in your mind for ever as we step into the past with stories of massacres and battles as well as tales of romance and monsters. This is the opportunity to get lost in a world of myth and mystery surrounded by incredible scenery. Come join us on the adventure of a lifetime.
Your Edinburgh tour itinerary
Day 1 Leaving from anywhere in Central Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling) we will head up to Crianlarich, the gateway to the North and a dramatic change in scenery. From Crianlarich we will continue on to Glencoe the scene of an infamous clan massacre. We will then move on to Fort William and catch sight of Scotland's tallest mountain Ben Nevis Our next stop is Fort Augustus where we will get our first sight of Loch Ness before moving up the loch to our accommodation and a chance to spot Nessie. Day 2 Boat trip on Loch Ness and visit Urquhart Castle Visit Culloden battle ground Stop in House of Bruar for lunch and shopping Pass through Perth and on to accommodation anywhere in Central Scotland
