Easy reachable, the AVE high-speed train from Atocha station arrives in Toledo in just 25 minutes. I have been doing guided tours for more than 20 years in this amazing labyrinth of tiny streets that is Toledo, so I know this magical town like the back of my hand. In my tour you'll discover in an easy and funny way its rich history, monuments, hidden corners, handicrafts, legends and so on. Toledo is a trip to the past, a town packed with history where we'll see remains of all cultures settled on the Iberian Peninsula since the ancient times. Nowadays you can still admire the remains of bridges, palaces, churches, mosques and synagogues in the Old Town!

Well organized tour of Toledo which includes a high-speed train ride from Madrid. We met Jackie at the train station at 8:45am. Arriving in Toledo, we took a taxi to the old city stopping at an overlook for the amazing city view. On our walking tour, We saw the most important historical buildings and the Jewish quarter. The cathedral tour alone was worth the visit. Jackie is extremely knowledgeable and gave us all the background info we wanted. After the tour we had free time to shop and eat lunch. We returned on the train arriving at the Madrid Atoche Station 4pm. Tour cost included train, taxi and entry tickets.

This was the best decision of our entire trip to Spain. Jackie was a delight and so knowledgeable. She made our day trip seamless. If we had to schedule this on our own it would have taken hours. She saved us so much time and made the day enjoyable. Stop at the pottery shop that is built into a cave. The cathedral was worth the entire trip.

Jackie was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable about Toledo, Madrid, and Spanish art. She took us on a whirlwind tour of the masterpieces of the Prado, and has an amazing knowledge of the art and artists from the 1500s, 1600s, 1700, and 1800s. The Prado is so huge, that we never could have seen the highlights without her guidance. She was very flexible and understood when we were tired and needed a lunch break. You will enjoy your time with Jackie!

-We'll take a taxi at Toledo Railway Station: sightseeing by driving to get the best panoramic views of the Old Town. -Photo stop at a viewpoint. -Drive to the Oldtown. -Walking tour: The Cathedral (going inside), Santo Tomé Church (going inside), the Jewish Quarter and Sinagoga Santa Mª La Blanca (going inside). Break for lunch and shopping. -Optional visit to a Damasquinado workshop. -Taxi back to the Railway station.
