Hola. Mi name is Alfonso. I am a passionate 32 years old guide from Madrid. I have been guiding for almost 7 years all over Spain and Portugal , giving different kinds of tours as both a local guide and tour leader. I have studied business and tourism and I have been professional athlete. WHY AM I GUIDING? Since I was a kid I have always loved knowing new places. I enjoy improvising within those new cities and discovering new places along the way. I am curious about everything. I consider myself to be enthusiastic, knowledgeable, good listener, deep and open minded person. I am a people person. I love getting to know new people and learning from them. I love to travel anywhere and anyway. I have lived in Germany and I have worked and studied abroad in many different locations. When I had a surgery on my hip I had to stop playing sports and start from scratch. I began thinking "what do I like and what do I do well?". My friends would always ask me things like: Where should we go for dinner? Would you come with me to the Prado Museum ? Alfonso, How do we get to this place or that? I have always been interested in history, gastronomy and art : the roots of any place culture. The way we the humans interact with the environment. When thinking about my hobbies and these facts about myself I decided that guiding could be something that could appeal to me. Luckily for me, it worked out. Being a tour-guide is a lot being like a student. I am always studying new things, preparing new activities for the tours and learning from people I meet. I started guiding in the tricky city centre of Madrid and afterwords in other cities, museums, palaces etc. In my tours I love to show the real deal of the places we visit, to have local experiences and if possible to interact with locals. I don't like to ignore controversial topics. To go often off the beaten truck. I invite you to do a tour with me , I would be more than happy showing you my city. Yes! Toledo & Segovia in 1 day is possible. Whatever it is the reason for your visit : Will you be in Madrid for short time? Are there many things in Madrid you would like to cover but still you would like to get the most of your holiday? If yes is the answer this tour is a great choice since it gives you the chance to visit two world heritage towns in one day(including admissions to one monuments) without having to rush it up. Lot of people come to me asking which of this two towns would be a better choice for a day tour. I always tell them that each of them has it own allure and that I love both of them: so why not to visit the two of them! This is how I came up with this idea of delivering a full day tour visiting on one hand the former Capital of Spain also known as "the city of the three cultures": Toledo, and on the other hand , Segovia: A pleasant medieval town next to the mountains with 3 worthwhile renowned monuments: the Aqueduct, the Cathedral and its Fortress. Alfonso was a fabulous tour guide, one of the best we've had. He knew exactly where to take us for the views. His knowledge of the history of the area was amazing and he presented it in such a way that you could picture it in your mind. There were four of us so we rented a larger vehicle since this was a full day of touring. We were very comfortable. I will definitely recommend him to anyone traveling in Spain!
Alfonso was excellent. Our kids (10, 14, 15) were interested the entire time which was 11 hours long. Saw and learned some great things about Spanish culture. He knew everything about everywhere we went and was fun. Would hire again
Awesome tour guide! Two fabulous towns and Alfonso was a wealth of knowledge and the best organized guide ever! He made the tour through both Toledo and Segovia, memorable by showing us not only the sites, but explaining what we were saying, describing the people of the time, the architecture in the history in a way that brought both towns to life. Alfonso Gibbs many different tours, as well as this one, and I would not hesitate to choose another tour that he guides in the future!
Alfonso is a wonderful guide and we highly recommend him. He has extensive knowledge of the history of all the sites we visited, and was able to answer all of our questions clearly. More than that, he is very easy going and fun to tour with.
We had an incredible time with Alfonso, and are so grateful we took this tour! His knowledge and enthusiasm for the history, architecture, gastronomy and wine of the region was inspiring. A great tour with a great guide. Alfonso was very knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very patient with our slow moving group (dad with limited mobility) and talkativeness. We loved learning the history of the place and he had great recommendations for food. His vehicle is very comfortable and although looks small it is very roomy inside. He was also prepared with bottles of water for us which were needed after walking. Would tour with him again!

Chance to take great pics. 30 mins. - Walking tour visiting the main monument of the City : The Cathedral followed by some free time. Throughout the walking tour we will walk the Jewish Quarter and we will pass by the main landmarks of the city such us the City Hall or Zocodover Square. We will learn about cuisine and handicrafts. 2 h. - Ride to Segovia 1. 45 h - Panoramic sigthseeing when arriving at Segovia followed by Time for Lunch1. 20 h -Walking tour including visit to the Castle 1. 5 h During the walking tour in Segovia we will learn about the Aqueduct, the Cathedral, the Main square, the Jewish quarter as well as legends which are waiting for us in Segovia -Wrap up at a Viewpoint in Segovia. Chance to take great pics 10 mins - Ride to Madrid. 1. 5 h - End of the tour. The experience migth be taylored. Admissions, meals and other inclusion can be added.
