Cordova' s Highlights and Mosque

We begin to walk the path of the philosophers. Firstly we see Averroes, 12th century, a philosopher follower of Aristotle. We arrived at the Almodóvar Gate, with the statue of Seneca, a roman philosopher born in Córdoba in the 1st century after Christ. We entered the Jewish quarter, we visited the SYNAGOGUE: built by the Sephardim, from the 14th century, a work of art preserved to show us their Jewish lifestyle of the time. Next we visited El Soco, in the Jewish quarter for 10 minutes. Statue of Maimonides: Sephardic Jew, he was forced to flee Córdoba after suffering persecution from the Almohads in the 12th century.
