I was born in Córdoba, but I love meeting people from everywhere. l work as a guide full time which makes me quite happy, having the experience of teaching the history and explaining archeological details around the walking tour. Don't worry, I know the place as the palm of my hand, and I'll be so happy to show you which columns were taken from Roman buildings and which ones not! Do you know Mohamed Al-Gafequi was an expert in the intervention to cure cataracts? But he was born in 12th century! - Of course here, in Cordoba -. What about "los patios"? Each courtyard has a history, a life. . . . you will lose it if you go by yourself! There are so many details! Why are there so many flowers out streets? Toni was awesome. Very knowledgeable about all things in the city and the history of it all. Her English was good and she was very patient with all of our questions. She went the extra mile to find us a nice spot to eat and let us know where the taxi stations were so that we could return to the train station

We had a wonderful tour with Toni of the Mezquita, the Jewish quarter, and several patios in San Basilio. She was gracious and warm, and shared a wealth of knowledge about the unique history of Cordoba. We enjoyed our half day tour and highly recommend Toni as a guide.

Our tour with Toni (in English) for our group of 6 was excellent. She walked through the timeline of construction of the Mezquita from the pre-Muslim through the Christian periods with great knowledge and detail. Afterwards, she gave us the option to visit some of the traditional patios of Cordoba which were being judged as part of the yearly competition instead of the Alcazar. We chose the patios as the Alcazar was having some work done on it. Toni had a nice rapport with the group and I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again as a guide.
On this tour we will visit: - Mosque-Cathedral (Special schedule on Sundays) - Jewish Quarter - Synagogue (Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 to 3 pm) - Alcazar of Christian Kings (closed on Mondays and Sunday afternoons) - Private typical courtyards.
