Bienvenidos, Bienvenues, Welcome to Andalusia! Hi, My name is Mirian and I was born in this magnificent region in South of Spain. My greatest passion is to provide visitors with a deeper experience of the local culture. Having lived in various parts of Europe and Spain, I realized how important it is to meet a local person to truly appreciate and feel part of the place you visit. My hometown is Ecija, which is a traditional and captivating town in the heart of Andalucía located midway between the splendid Seville and Cordoba. On my tours in Cordoba and my hometown I show our culture, heritage, gastronomy and flamenco, the last one is my greatest passion, too. I would like you be part of our culture and feel like a local. I can provide tips on how to enjoy each of the cities and your time here. My love of tourism stems back to my childhood, in my parent's hostel, where I socialized with visitors. After graduating with a tourism degree from Seville University in 2003, I have spent the past 20 years working in this field, and seven years as a guide. Welcoming small groups of visitors I am able to interact with you and show carefully our culture and heritage. We will discover together this region which is a cultural melting pot! Bachelor in Tourism. Master Degree in Human Resources and Education. Guide requirements for Spain and for special monuments as Mosque in Cordoba, Cathedral of Seville,etc...

"We'll lounge beneath the pomegranates palm trees, orange trees, under every lovely, leafy thing, and walk along the vines, enjoy the splendid faces we will see in a lofty palace built of noble stones" (Ibn Gabirol, Cordoba, 11th century) "Where is Cordoba, the home of the sciences, and many a scholar whose rank was once lofty in it?" (Abu al-Baqa' al-Rundi d. 1285) Córdoba has been one of the capital cities of the European and Mediterranean culture for almost one thousand years. From the second half of VIII century, during the following 300 years, the world's greatest cities in any sense were Baghdad, Córdoba, Constantinople, and Damascus. I'll guide you to find the roots of the scientific renaissance, that later on spread to Europe through Al Andalus. Every corner of Cordoba and surroundings is a gem. See the pictures. This tour is a excellent choice to explore the main highlights of Cordoba and I'll make you discover the local culture as well as traditions and of course why Cordoba was so important
Along our 3. 00h walking itinerary you will admire and enjoy: FIRST PART: - The Great Mosque-Cathedral. - The roman bridge over Guadalquivir river - The south gate. - The Jewish-Moorish section and - The Synagogue (Closed on Mondays) Note: Please be informed Synagogue is closed on Monday. We visit patios instead. This is a suggested itinerary, let me know what you would like to see and do and I will customize the tour accordingly.
