Jewish Half Day Tour in Cordoba

We are so glad we booked this tour with Toni. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, she arranged a seamless experience — which is important because otherwise the crowds could easily become overwhelming. I came away with a much richer understanding of Cordoba’s political, cultural and religious significance. Besides the Mosque Cathedral, which is an architectural marvel, the Sepharad house was a real highlight. I very much appreciated the efforts to celebrate Jewish culture and history and to reckon with the horrors the Jewish community faced, before and during the inquisition. Toni was a fabulous guide. She had a wonderful way of telling the story of Cordoba and immersing us in the period. The tour covered the exact areas we were interested in and we finished the tour really feeling like we understood the history of the area. We were so glad we came to Cordoba. Toni was a terrific tour guide in all respects. We spent a half day with her in October 2023, focusing mostly on the Mosque but also the Jewish area of the city. She was very knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. We never could have grasped the details and history of the Mosque without her explanations.
