Hello everyone! My name is Hamdi, and I was born and raised right here in Granada! As a child I grew up enjoying the beauty of the Alhambra and the Islamic legacy monuments of Andalucía and fell in love with its grand history and architecture. Now, I am fortunate to lead tours and share my passion for this stunning, one of a kind, world landmark. I'm specialised in the Alhambra and the Great Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba. I have devoted my life to language and history studies and am eager to share my knowledge and local expertise with you! This won't be your typical tour! My goal in my tours is for history to come to life and for you to be swept away in the magical ambiance of the ancient palaces and landmarks. Granada and Córdoba are very special cities to visit in Andalusia. Both cities represent very well the beginning and the end of Al-Andalus. It has multiple UNESCO world heritage sites. Everything will invite you to fall in love, magnificent gardens, Mosques, Palaces and also enjoying the complex and fascinating history of long lost civilizations and conquerors. So tell me what you're looking for and I can customize the tour just for you! Whether it's architecture you're interested in or the ancient politics of the Old rulers, I can do it all. You'll be amazed and what you're going to see and learn! - Official touring guiding license. - Diploma in history and tourism. - Master's degree in Al-Andalus History (specialised in Granada and Córdoba). - Only official tour guide in the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba offering tours in Arabic. - Bachelor's degree in translation and interpreting. - Master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Hamdi’s tour of Córdoba and the Mezquita was phenomenal. He was helpful in getting us situated in the city before the tour, and we had a great time from the moment he met up with us. I’d recommend his tour to anyone in a heartbeat!
Hamil was a wonderful tour guide who was knowledgeable, friendly comfortable by our terms as American tourist. So much knowledge, he took his places that we never would’ve seen or known about in the Mesqita. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
I have to say that I haven’t had a bad tour with Toursbylocals, but this was my absolute favorite! Hamdi rearranged his days to fit us in, as I had made an error in my scheduling. And I’m so glad he did. The Mosque-Cathedral was almost overwhelmingly beautiful and represents to me hope for the future. The history of various religions working together, learning from each other, despite a lot of conquering and such going on, was very interesting.

Tour increíble!! Nos encantó tener un tour privado con Hamdi en la Mezquita Catedral de Córdoba. No solamente nos buscó al hotel donde nos estábamos hospedando, en el trayecto nos fue hablando de la historia de Córdoba y un preámbulo de lo que íbamos a ver en la catedral!! Explicó todo de manera que pudiéramos entender. Fue muy amable y cordial en todo momento!! 100 % recomendado!! No se van a arrepentir!!
Ayer visitamos la mezquita guiadas por Hamdi, la visita fue fantástica, Hamdi tiene una formación admirable, sus explicaciones fueron interesantes y amenas. Qué pena no poder alargar el viaje para visitar con el otras partes de la ciudad!
