I was born in Córdoba, but I love meeting people from everywhere. l work as a guide full time which makes me quite happy, having the experience of teaching the history and explaining archeological details around the walking tour. Do you want to try the best local tapas? Everybody has listened about "salmorejo" but, what about "mazamorra", which was one of the main dishes before the discovery of America? Do not worry, I'll take you to my favourite tavern where you can taste some of our most traditional dishes and there I will explain you what do tapas mean to us. Why "Corredera Square" is called like that? It comes from "Corrida = bull fighting", but it has so many history that you couldn't realize if you visit it by yourself. This tour is so special because you will know with me history, arquitecture, culture, traditions. . . . secrets from Cordoba that you will never forget. We had a wonderful tour with Toñi. She taught us so much about the history of Cordoba in a way that was really easy to absorb. We had a wonderful walk through the Mosque-Cathedral. She brought is all to life. She is very personable and has great English. We had a great time with her and I highly recommend her.

We had an AMAZING tour with Toñi!! Highly recommend!! We were a group of 21 university students with 4 teachers - she exceeded our expectations for explaining the history of Córdoba and its Golden Age to our students - and our bar was quite high. She kept the students engaged and interested despite their fatigue from a long day of travel. Will definitely book with Toñi again!
My wife and I had a great time with Toñi as our guide and and we would recommend her to anyone going to Cordoba, She had excellent knowledge of the history of Cordoba and explained the historical timelines and gave us a lot of insight into other aspects of the local culture. Toñi is a fantastic guide! We spent the day with her, touring Cordoba, starting with the spectacular Mosque-Cathedral! Toñi has an encyclopedic knowledge of Cordoba, and all of its hidden spots and history. We toured the Jewish quarter, the beautiful synagogue, the famous patios (that everyone was readying for the May competition). Toñi arranged a wonderful lunch, and a viewing of Roman ruins beneath the Palacio del Bailio hotel. Of course, we will request Toñi on our future visits to Cordoba!
