Overview of your Cordoba tour
The magnificent Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba was built in the Middle Ages when a big part of Spain was known as "Al-Andalus". Journey through the history of the landmark, from its birth as a mosque under the Umayyad state to its 13th-century conversion into a Christian cathedral after the Conquest. Walk around the forest of marble, granite and jaspe columns and take amazing photographs. Why contact me? If you want to visit this monument in a different way, come with me! Thanks to my training (BA in History among other studies) I do not limit myself to showing and explaining the elements that are seen with the naked eye, I like to understand and understand the monument. Art is a consequence of the economic, social, religious and political situation of a historical moment. I don't believe that I have ever had a guide as thoroughly knowledgeable as Azahara. Her deep knowledge and passion gave the Mosque/Cathedral an immediacy that I've never gotten before on a tour. That fact that no one else signed up and we got a private tour was icing on the cake. But I imagine that she would be wonderful regardless of the group size. Thank you!
