Besides that forest of columns inside the Mosque, and that gorgeous choir in the Cathedral, which makes a marvelous visual effect; I'll take you to those hidden streets with so much history, flowers, and secrets in general! Did you know the greatest surgeon of the Middle Ages, described as the father of surgery, was born here in Cordoba? Albucasis was the first physician to identify ectopic pregnancy. Maimónides was also born here! He was a medieval Sephardic Jewish philosopher who became one of the most prolific and influential Torah scholars of the Middle Ages; a preeminent astronomer and physician, serving as the personal doctor of Saladin. I won't talk only about them, there are many other illustrious, statues and interesting buildings through those amazing narrow and zigzag streets. We'll enter the Synagogue. . . did you know is one of the only three which are preserved in Spain from the Middle Ages? Why it wasn't destroyed? 'll tell you the answer and lots more.

Toñi, lived up to her perfect 5 star rating! If you want the best private tour of Cordoba, you must use her! Toñi customized our tour for our elderly parents. Even though we spent most of our time in the mosque-cathedral, the history lesson was so thorough we really got an understanding of the city. Toñi made the history of Cordoba come to life by the way she told the story. Her English is impeccable so it was easy for us to understand. She also made a great dinner recommendation for the evening after our tour. Toñi, thank you for a great day!!

Toni was OUTSTANDING!! Her knowledge and passion for Mezquita-Cathedral was immense. She is a wonderful historian, story teller and guide. We learned so much, and the flow of the tour, walking along in chronological history was perfect. In addition to a great great tour, Toni gave us some great dining recommendations and planned a self guided tour for us on our second day in Cordoba. I can’t say enough good things about this experience.!

Toñi was a fantastic guide. She was prompt and enthusiastic, adapting the tour to our interests and speed, always ready to explain and answer our questions. Her choice of the highlights was thoughtful and diverse, making for a highly educational and super fun time. She also guided through some of the Patios on the first day of competition, and gave us critical advice to explore the patios that were likely to be less busy. Indeed they were and they were gorgeous. Overall, this was an outstanding tour, an outstanding and knowledgeable guide, and a wonderful time in a gorgeous city.
