Hello! I'm Ana, a local guide from this beautiful city, Córdoba, which was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO back in 1994. I was born here and I am so proud to show this town to travellers who are excited to get to know its history as the old califal city. I’ve studied Tourism and English philology, which lead me to working in Cambridge, UK. But after a while, I felt that I needed to come back home, so I prepared myself to be a guide in my hometown. I have been an official guide in Spain since 2016, and also have the Rasgo license which allows me to guide specific tours about the Jewish people past (Sefarad’s Routes). I am also an Official guide for the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba since 2017. I love to spend time with travellers immersing in the narrow and flowered streets to show them the real city, apart from the typical tourist places to visit. So, If you want to spend time in Córdoba I’m ready to customize a full-day tour for you!

Book a two and a half hour guided visit to the old Jewish Quarter which presents one of only three Medieval Synagogues preserved in Spain. Getting lost in the narrow and flowered streets is the only way to understand the history and architecture of Córdoba. On this tour, we will admire a statue of Maimonides which brings Jewish people from all over every year to pay their respects. We will also be touching upon what is the relationship between the Spanish Government and the Jewish Community today. As an official guide of the Mosque Cathedral with years of experience, I am looking forward to helping you uncover the rich heritage that these stones reflect.
