As an official guide I am entitled to explain the museums and historical sites without queing. A very popular tour. The old town of Barcelona. We will discover the roman city with the roman wall, the roman baths, and then the medieval town with the markets , shops, palaces and the cathedral of St. Eulalia . Note: In order to visit the cathedral shoulders must be covered and no shorts allowed inside the church. There are masses during weekends, Holly days and weekends so there are time restriction and might not be possible to visit it during that time. The food markets are close on sundays and holidays.
We had a wonderful and personal tour of the Gothic and Jewish Quarters. She has a wealth of information about the architecture, art, government, history, culture and anything we asked about. She kept our teenage granddaughters involved and engaged. We highly recommend her tour and would definitely look for her again when we return.
Sandra did a wonderful job today. It was a 100% walking tour and she kept us active and engaged the entire time while being very conscious of our needs for periodic breaks. She was a fountain of knowledge about the area and freely shared it with us. Also gave us great ideas for the next day which we had free
Sandra is terrific. She is very knowledgable. She went out of her way to be helpful, giving us tips on other things we plan to see this week, helping us get tickets to Picasso museum and reservations at one of her favorite Tapas spots. She tge best.
Sandra was a great tour guide. I highly recommend her. She was extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited. We walked through the gothic quarter, some markets and the Picasso museum. We stopped at a well known bakery and a churro shop for a quick taste. Sandra tailored everything to the time we had and my requests. She even took the taxi with me to Sagrada Familia ( not part of our tour) , directed me to the entrance where I was supposed to meet my group and provided a brief overview!
Sandra gave us a wonderful tour of the old town in Barcelona. She took us through the market, through the gothic area where we saw ancient Roman ruins and a very old synagogue. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona. On her own, she had obtained free tickets to the new Picasso/Miro exhibit for us. It was very thoughtful of her and it was a great way to end the tour.
Sandra does a greaT job with this tour. She is especially great with the history of the Picasso at the Museum. She takes to you for great tapas and Sangria. Very personal and a great person to talk to. Highly recommend Sandra.
The Gothic tour includes the old town with the medieval palaces, roman city , roman wall, cathedral fassades, food markets , ramblas , cathedral of St. Eulalia, and much more. As official guide we do not have to queue to visit any of this buildings. Note : On sunday and holidays the Boquería food market it is close. It is mandatory to cover the shoulders and the legs in order to visit the Cathedral of Saint Eulalia . On sundays they have services so the visit will depend on the hours of masses.
