This is my country. I know its hidden places and I cannot help but marvel at all that Portugal has to be experienced. Its historic heritage, its cuisine and wines, the beauty of its cities, towns and picturesque villages, the most typical shops, the traditional cafes, the habits of the people… It is all this that I want to share with those who are seeking to "live" Portugal well beyond the tourist routes. This is what makes my proposals something so intense and distinctive. Discover with me the historic quarters of Lisbon and Porto, the unique scenery of the Douro region and the flavours of its wines, the secret beaches of the coastal regions or the golden plains of Alentejo. Enjoy charming hotels, restaurants where the tourists don't come, or live experiences, like a grape harvest and much more. More than to "see", come to feel and live Portugal as if you were Portuguese. It is this wonderful experience that I want of offer you. I like to think of myself as more than a guide, an easy going friend commited to deliver the best. I'm passionate about history and its hidden stories as well as wine and food tours. All the itineraries can be customized accordingly to your interests and needs. Challenge me! Every Lisbon's hilltop offers a rainbow of colours, from the river, or the sun bathing the glazed facades. Born in Lisbon allow me to share with you some of my favourite spots and little secrets. We'll greet Lisbon in the unique S. Pedro de Alcantara view point. Just next lays the artsy night life district of Bairro Alto and the Chiado district, the former preferred hang out place for artists and early political groups that shaped out 20th century. The baixa/downtown rebuilt after one of the major earthquakes is an interesting mix of people and places. On the way up to the Castle feel the city and its colours. if you made it this far great! Enjoy the view and relax! The good news is from this point on is always down. . . through the historical quarters of Alfama and Mouraria, the birthplace of the local music Fado.
We'll start at S. Pedro de Alcantara view point, then through bairro alto till Chiado. We'll wander in the baixa district and the acess St. George's Castle. (paid entrance). Towards the river by Alfama and Mouraria quarter, ending at Commerce Square
