I am a city girl, now a mommy, but still young and wild at heart! My passions are food, music, cinema and my family and friends. If you stick with me you will probably end up in a show or a party amongst friends and family! I know my way around fairs and markets because I grew up in a traditional Lisbon market. Join me for a morning of buying fresh produce for dinner or a cool drink at the local viewpoint. Also I am a history geek, so I have been telling stories about the city history for more than 14 years now. There is something about mixing a little bit of history with the stories of my life around the city that makes me love my city little bit more everyday. I do not see myself as a tour guide. Have you ever seen a tour guide taking you into their home or having a drink in their favourite bar? My goal is to show you the real Lisbon, my spots, where I grew up or the first house I had in the city or help you organize a road trip that takes you to the best spots to surf, eat or just enjoy the beautiful sunsets our country has to offer. My best trips so far were those where we experienced the local life. Overview of your Lisbon tour
Welcome to the southside, some say the best side of Lisbon. We will start by taking your breath away with the ocean views from Espichel Cape, surrounded with legends that come all the way back from the Muslim occupation of the Portuguese territory in the 10th century. From there, we can see the little fisherman's village of Sesimbra, carved in the rocks of the coast and if you can spare 5mn, maybe dip our toes in the ocean while talking about the history of this magical city. As an alternative we can zigzag around the magical roads of Arrabida Mountains overlooking the ocean and some of the best looking beaches in Europe. From there let's head on over to Almada, from where we can see Lisbon, but also check out the modern art that Lisbon is becoming more and more known for across the world.
