Nazaré is a fishing town 2 hours south of Porto and over an hour north of Lisbon. It's known for giant waves, surfing, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Nazaré, the red lighthouse and delicious seafood. Óbidos is a charming medieval town, one of the 7 wonders of Portugal. It's a walled town where you'll find a beautiful castle, labyrithic streets, and white-washed houses with blue and yellow bars. Enjoy the scent of colorful flowers, the bougainvillea, citrus trees, and the taste of Ginja (local sour cherry liquor) and local chocolates. You'll feel like you are in a fairy tale.
