History, Heritage and Alentejo Flavors from Lisbon
Overview of your Lisbon tour
This private full-day tour takes you from Lisbon to two of Portugal’s most historic destinations: Palmela and Évora. Departing from Lisbon or the Lisbon Cruise Port, we first head to Palmela to visit the impressive Palmela Castle, a medieval fortress with stunning views over the Arrábida region. We spend around one hour exploring the castle and its surroundings. We then continue to Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage city. Here we visit the Roman Temple of Diana, the Cathedral of Évora (Sé), and stroll through Praça do Giraldo. There is free time for lunch, with a recommendation to Café Alentejo or another restaurant of your choice. In the afternoon, we visit the Church of São Francisco and the famous Chapel of Bones before returning comfortably to Lisbon. The tour lasts approximately 8 hours.
