I am a city girl, now a mommy, but still young and wild at heart! My passions are food, music, cinema and my family and friends. If you stick with me you will probably end up in a show or a party amongst friends and family! I know my way around fairs and markets because I grew up in a traditional Lisbon market. Join me for a morning of buying fresh produce for dinner or a cool drink at the local viewpoint. Also I am a history geek, so I have been telling stories about the city history for more than 14 years now. There is something about mixing a little bit of history with the stories of my life around the city that makes me love my city little bit more everyday. I do not see myself as a tour guide. Have you ever seen a tour guide taking you into their home or having a drink in their favourite bar? My goal is to show you the real Lisbon, my spots, where I grew up or the first house I had in the city or help you organize a road trip that takes you to the best spots to surf, eat or just enjoy the beautiful sunsets our country has to offer. My best trips so far were those where we experienced the local life. We'll start by showing you the best park in town and proceed to Campo de Ourique, a more residential neighbourhood, built right after the earthquake, that has always combined the bourgeois with all the different classes of Lisbon's society. Considered nowadays the best place to live in Lisbon, get to know some of its revolutionary tales, some special people who've lived here, the shops, markets and libraries that make the place lively and vibrant. From there, we'll head over to Lapa, a place known by its lavish family houses, nowadays turned into embassies and hotels. This tour is a different way of learning a bit about the history of the city and its people.
