Lisbon Food and Wine Walking Tour in Alfama and Old Town

I present to you a walking tour around the beautiful hills and cobblestone winding streets of Lisbon, with stops to taste the most delicious authentic dishes of Portugal. We visit the main hills and the downtown of the city, and we mix traditions, culture, food, wine and history of the oldest and coolest city of Western Europe. We meet at the meeting point and start our food adventure mixing culture, traditions and history around the old Lisbon area. Get off the beaten track with me, and I will show you the old town of the Portuguese people. In a totally relaxed and informal atmosphere, we cross the streets of Lisbon searching, sneaking and discovering all the hidden corners of Graça, Castelo, Alfama and Downtown neighbourhoods. On this tour, we will visit at least 4 authentic spots, where you will taste the famous Bifana (Pork sandwich) and the codfish cake paired with Portuguese beer, delight yourself with the sour cherry liquor (Ginjinha), and the famous Custard tart (Pastel de Nata). We end the tour in a wine shop. Paired with different types of cheeses and charcuterie, we enjoy a wine tasting. You will learn more about the Portuguese wines and the different wine regions. Along the way, we discover the history of the neighborhoods and the city and get the real feel of how it is to live in Lisbon.
