Overview of your Lisbon tour
Let Chico take you to Sintra, the beautiful Romantic village and UNESCO heritage site, where the Royal Family and other aristocrats spent their Summers and built some of Portugal's most beautiful palaces and manor houses. We will have time to visit a monument and taste the famous local pastries, the Queijadas and Travesseiros. Crossing the Sintra mountains, once known as the "Moon Mountains", we will go to Cape of Roca, the westernmost point of Continental Europe, with its amazing views over the Atlantic Ocean. After a short stop, we will head towards Cascais, the old fishermen village that became famous due to its mild summer climate, and small beaches, preferred by the aristocracy of late 19th century, making it a high-end touristic destination nowadays. Free time for lunch in Cascais. Chico can recommend some portuguese restaurants. Before returning to your hotel in Lisbon, we will pass by Estoril village, with its big Casino and gardens, famous for some spies' stories during World War II.
