Overview of your Lisbon tour

This tour is perfect for someone discovering Lisbon for the first time! Starting at "Baixa", you will learn about the earthquake that shaped today's downtown and how Lisbon was rebuilt from scratch. We will also pass by the lively area of Bairro Alto, the local's favorite spot for nightlife. Next, we will go to Chiado, the bustling area where people go shopping and where we find some of the oldest shops in the city. We will take a tram to go to Alfama, the most authentic part of Lisbon that was once occupied by both Moors and Jews. The neighborhood of Alfama is my absolute favourite in the whole city! That's why I like to save the best for last! Every time I wander trough Alfama I fell like I'm in a completely different place, it seems like this part of Lisbon is stuck in time. . . With ladies peaking out of the window or kids playing outside. In the end, you will feel like a true native and even more in love with this beautiful city!

My tour with Catarina was great! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and its history, and I learned many fun facts and anecdotes that I really enjoyed. Her itinerary was an excellent introduction to the city, but she was also flexible and always happy to answer my questions or stop for pictures etc. She is friendly and personable and speaks very good English. I really appreciate the recommendations that she gave me for eating, shopping, transportation and sightseeing on my own. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend booking with her!!!
