Lisbon in a Day - Tour of Alfama and Belem

Enjoy the city with me and feel its energy and vibe. Driving and walking through the unique cobblestone streets of Lisbon, we will visit Príncipe Real, Bairro Alto, Chiado, as well as Graça and walk through the winding streets of Alfama (the oldest neighborhood of the city), ending at Lisbon downtown to feel the unique vibe of the streets and squares around this area. After all the walking, we deserve a typical Lisbon lunch. In the afternoon, we head to Belém, the most imperialistic part of the city, to visit Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery and the Discoveries monument. Last but not least, we end the day tasting the best pastry in Portugal, the Coustart tart at the original shop. It seems a lot, but trust me, you will ask for more mysteries to unveil in the city.

- Pick up at your accommodation or at the Port. - Start by passing by Principe Real square and stopping at S.Pedro de Alcântara Viewpoint, in the heart of the famous Bairro Alto. - Climbing Castle Hill, we head to the Graça neighborhood and visit the viewpoints. - We stop the van at S.Vicente de Fora Market, where you can visit the church with the same name, and the national Pantheon, and wander around the typical neighborhood of Alfama and feel its unique energy until we reach Comercio Square and downtown. - Now it’s time for lunch, a typical Lisbon lunch that you are going to love. - Pass through Ribeira Market (Time out) and Cais do Sodré and head to Belém to visit Jeronimos Monastery, Belém Tower and Discoveries monument, all these monuments were built to pay a tribute to the great achievements of the Portuguese navigators back in the 15th and 16th centuries. - Next, you have to taste the incredible custard tart of Belém, one of the best and most known Portuguese pastries. You will cry for more.
