"I don't believe the best of the Netherlands can be experienced from a tour bus. The real Netherlands is found in conversations with locals, hidden villages, working windmills, family businesses, and places most visitors never see." Hello, my name is Stefka, and for more than 15 years I have been helping travelers discover the Netherlands beyond the guidebooks and tourist crowds. I believe the best travel experiences happen when you connect with real people and experience places through local eyes. That's why my tours are designed differently. Rather than following large tour groups to crowded attractions, I create private, personalized journeys that reveal the authentic character of the Netherlands. As your private driver-guide, I'll take you beyond Amsterdam to charming villages, historic windmills, flower-growing regions, family-owned businesses, vineyards, and hidden corners that most visitors never discover. Along the way, you'll meet passionate locals—from millers and flower growers to artisans and winemakers—who share their stories and traditions firsthand. I'm passionate about responsible tourism. I believe travel should benefit both you, the visitor, and the communities we visit. That's why I work closely with local businesses and independent entrepreneurs, drive an electric vehicle, and encourage simple sustainable choices such as refilling water bottles with excellent Dutch tap water instead of using disposable plastics. By supporting local people and preserving authentic traditions, we help ensure these special places can be enjoyed by your children and grand children in the future. Whether you're interested in Dutch culture, history, genealogy, countryside landscapes, flowers, food, or simply experiencing everyday life in the Netherlands, every tour is tailored to your interests, pace, and travel style. No two tours are exactly alike. I especially enjoy crafting fully customized private experiences, from exploring charming towns and countryside landscapes to connecting travelers with local makers, farmers, and winemakers. I also have a strong focus on accessible, comfortable travel, and I’m experienced in guiding guests with mobility needs. Over the years, I have welcomed travelers from all over the world, many of whom return again or recommend me to family and friends. The tours I create are shaped by my own curiosity and love for the Netherlands: taking the scenic route, meeting passionate local people, discovering authentic places, and taking time to appreciate what makes a destination special. The experiences I share are not chosen because they're the most famous, but because they are the ones that continue to inspire me. I enjoy introducing guests to the people, places, and traditions that I genuinely care about—places I return to myself because they bring me joy and remind me why I love this country. I look forward to sharing my country with you and creating a day that feels less like a tour and more like exploring with a knowledgeable local friend. See you in the Netherlands! Stefka

Most visitors know the Netherlands for its canals and windmills, but the Dutch countryside offers much more. Join me on a private journey through rural Holland, combining local food traditions, authentic farms, historic windmills, and the surprising world of Dutch wine. We'll start at a traditional dairy farm, where you'll meet the cows, learn how Gouda cheese is made, enjoy a wooden shoe demonstration, and sample local cheeses. Next, visit a working grain-grinding windmill and discover how these iconic structures shaped Dutch history and daily life. The highlight of the day is a visit to a carefully selected Dutch vineyard. Walk among the vines with the winemaker and enjoy a wine tasting paired with local cheese, fresh bread, and other regional bites. As a WSET Level 3 wine graduate, I'll share insights into wine production and the exciting history of Dutch wines. A relaxed and authentic taste of the Netherlands beyond the usual tourist trail.

The car I drive is a Kia eNiro, compact SUV https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4OrOc_sXrU&t=344s One passenger seat up front and 3 on the back row (the middle seat being smaller). Large windows, air-conditioning, seat warming and cooling. Prefer a larger vehicle? Let me know and I'll rent an electric Mercedes V-class (7 seater) for 175 euros extra. Larger group? Contact me for an all-in quote.
