Often we want to take things slow. After all holidays are for relaxing. One may be at an age when rushing does not appeal any more, one may be suffering from an injury, one may be suffering from jet lag or travel weariness, or one may just want to pace oneself. But at the same time we want to enjoy the city in its entirety. Amsterdam is apt for taking it slow, walking at a leisurely pace, taking the tram for longer stretches, and sitting down as often as required in excellent cafes while I continue to tell you about the colourful past and present of the city. A lot of the cafes have their wonderful histories as well. In the end you enjoy the city, soak in the atmosphere, and yet end the day fresh for the rest of your trip. Canals, alleys, sights, history, cafes, coffee, snacksand anecdotes. A tour suited for the relaxed traveller of every age.
Arun is a fantastic guide who really tailors this tour to your wants and needs to explore Amsterdam and all of its glory. Had a fantastic walking tour of Amsterdam with Arun. He took us to different areas of Amsterdam and shared his perspectives about the history, culture and architecture. We had learned so much about Amsterdam in the short 5-hour tour than we would have on our own. He also treated us to several local appetizers and treats which were delicious.
