"I don't believe the best of the Netherlands can be experienced from a tour bus. The real Netherlands is found in conversations with locals, hidden villages, working windmills, family businesses, and places most visitors never see." Hello, my name is Stefka, and for more than 15 years I have been helping travelers discover the Netherlands beyond the guidebooks and tourist crowds. I believe the best travel experiences happen when you connect with real people and experience places through local eyes. That's why my tours are designed differently. Rather than following large tour groups to crowded attractions, I create private, personalized journeys that reveal the authentic character of the Netherlands. As your private driver-guide, I'll take you beyond Amsterdam to charming villages, historic windmills, flower-growing regions, family-owned businesses, vineyards, and hidden corners that most visitors never discover. Along the way, you'll meet passionate locals—from millers and flower growers to artisans and winemakers—who share their stories and traditions firsthand. I'm passionate about responsible tourism. I believe travel should benefit both you, the visitor, and the communities we visit. That's why I work closely with local businesses and independent entrepreneurs, drive an electric vehicle, and encourage simple sustainable choices such as refilling water bottles with excellent Dutch tap water instead of using disposable plastics. By supporting local people and preserving authentic traditions, we help ensure these special places can be enjoyed by your children and grand children in the future. Whether you're interested in Dutch culture, history, genealogy, countryside landscapes, flowers, food, or simply experiencing everyday life in the Netherlands, every tour is tailored to your interests, pace, and travel style. No two tours are exactly alike. I especially enjoy crafting fully customized private experiences, from exploring charming towns and countryside landscapes to connecting travelers with local makers, farmers, and winemakers. I also have a strong focus on accessible, comfortable travel, and I’m experienced in guiding guests with mobility needs. Over the years, I have welcomed travelers from all over the world, many of whom return again or recommend me to family and friends. The tours I create are shaped by my own curiosity and love for the Netherlands: taking the scenic route, meeting passionate local people, discovering authentic places, and taking time to appreciate what makes a destination special. The experiences I share are not chosen because they're the most famous, but because they are the ones that continue to inspire me. I enjoy introducing guests to the people, places, and traditions that I genuinely care about—places I return to myself because they bring me joy and remind me why I love this country. I look forward to sharing my country with you and creating a day that feels less like a tour and more like exploring with a knowledgeable local friend. See you in the Netherlands! Stefka

Escape the crowds and discover one of the Netherlands' greatest cultural treasures: the Kröller-Müller Museum, home to the world's second-largest collection of Van Gogh paintings. I'll be your private guide through the museum, sharing the stories behind ten world-famous artworks, including several remarkable Van Gogh masterpieces. Rather than simply looking at paintings, you'll learn how to connect with them and see them through different eyes. You'll also discover the fascinating life of Helene Kröller-Müller, whose vision created this extraordinary collection. We'll then explore the renowned sculpture garden, where I'll introduce unique works and explain their artistic significance in an engaging and accessible way. After the guided visit, you'll have free time for lunch and to revisit your favorite artworks at your own pace. This experience can also be expanded into a full-day tour with optional visits to Hoge Veluwe National Park, Palace Het Loo or the Airborne Museum.
We meet at the entrance of the Kroller-Muller museum. I'll guide you for around 1-hour to see famous paintings of Seurat, Picasso, Mondriaan and of course Van Gogh. There is time for a coffee break In the sculpture garden I'll show you sculptures of Rodin, Serra, Dubuffet and others.
Tell your guide which places matter to you, skip what doesn't, and tailor the experience for your group's needs. Not finding what you want? Message your guide to build something unique.
