Hi my name is Elke. As your personal driver and tour guide I offer unique excursions to the Dutch country side. All my excursions are carefully designed to provide the most authentic and genuine experience of the Dutch landscape as possible. I have been a citizen of Amsterdam for 20 years now and have always been exploring its inner and outer surroundings, on foot, by bike and by car. Elke provided an amazing custom tour for us. She picked us up promptly at the dock and brought us to drop our bags at the hotel before taking us out to the tulip fields and a very quaint historical village. She also picked a great place for lunch and had a snack and water for us. Her vehicle is spacious, clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend her for anyone wanting an authentic tour of Amsterdam and the surrounding area.

Elke was the perfect guide for our tour to Kuekenoff and a charming village and a visit to a working windmill. Elke gave us the history of each place we visited. As it was King's Day when we visited the village, the contrast between the city where the celebration was riotous, the celebration in the village was a family affair. Elke is quite the historian and a guide I highly recommend. Thank you, Elke for memorable day.

Spending time with Elke was fantastic! Not only did we learn all about the tulip industry by going to the early morning flower auction, but we learned so much about Dutch history and current Dutch culture. After exploring Keukenhof Elke took us to the coast and around the area to view the large tulip and daffodil fields. But what really impressed us was the fact that Elke was more concerned about our experience than the time. Great tour!!
Pick up at the Hotel A drive to the flower fields and gardens during which I will tell you more about the origins of the tulip and its place among Dutch history. In the gardens I will give you a little tour and directions to the gardens and either leave you to explore on your own or join you according to your preference. When you have seen enough of the flowers we can add something to your interest. Options are: A visit to some windmills (including seeing them on the inside!) A visit to Delft and the Delft blue pottery. A visit to The Hague to visit a museum where you come eye to eye with the girl with the pearl earring. A visit the Leiden, the place where the Pilgrim fathers lived during their stay in Holland. Or maybe you have something specific in mind that you would love to see! I am very flexible and can customize the tour to your liking! Even during the tour day itself.
