Today, its charming canals are connected by 176 small bridges and surrounded by lakes, reed fields, cycling paths, and centuries-old thatched cottages with beautifully kept gardens. I will guide you through this extraordinary part of the Netherlands and share the fascinating story behind its unique, man-made waterways and way of life. To fully experience Giethoorn, we will enjoy a private cruise on an open boat through the quiet canals and scenic landscapes. Transportation is provided by private minivan with a professional driver, while the canal cruise takes place aboard our own private sloop with skipper for a relaxed and exclusive experience.
