Nowadays I am tourguide in all of thr Netherlsnds. I do tours by van, by bike, by boat or by feet. People love my way of working becsuse I have lot of humour and I am very social. Also I like talk about the motivation of people behind the historical facts. The way of thinking of the locals. Most important is: I have a pkeasant voicd. All my tours can be customized feel free to contact me :) I did grammar school (6 languages and economics). I have a master degree in social history (Erasmus University Rotterdan). For more than 30 years I am working in tourism {Amsterdam tours, Paris tours, European tours).. i am doing incentives, working for cruise ships or do private tours. I have my license for guiding and for driving a van. I am not allowed to conduct a vehicle with more than 8 people.

What's the best way to see Amsterdam in one day? That's possible if you go for the whole day with one guide. That day I present like a puzzle in little pieces and in the end it all fits. In the Rijksmuseum I will explain to you the Amsterdam history and and specially about our the Golden Age. As alternative you can also do the Anne Frank Museum. In your pivate boat after I will show you the Amsterdam Canal Belt (Unesco list) and what is left from that Golden Age. For lunch we stop for a traditional Dutch dinner inclusive drinks. We finish our day with a walking tour. Highlights by feet and from the boat. The good thing about this unique tour is that it's a flexible program: you can give feedback, tell me what you like to see or change the schedule. I will stay all day with you. By the way I am a historian and have lived in Amsterdam for 25 years.
Highlights in one day. Me, Guide Robert like to show my city in different manners: *by feet: walking tour among the oldest part, the canals and the highlights. We stop for cheese tasting during this walk. It depends where we start the tour. *by private boat: Unesco Canal Belt, Anne Frank House, Westerkerk, City Hall, Red Light District, Robert shows you hidden secrets and the boat is all for you. Also possible to do the tour in 2x 1/2 day! *in the Rijksmuseum: tour about the Golden Age. Rembrandt, Vermeer, Frans Hals, Jan Steen: Guide Robert knows them all. Let me choose the paintings! Program from 9 am till 5. 30 PM All my tours can be customized upon request for bigger groups and/or special interests

All by feet: no need for transportation. A private boat picks us up at the museum. The boat is a closed one with nice seats inside.
