Amsterdam walking tour

A 2, 5hr private walking tour. Among the highlights are the National monument and the Royal Palace on Dam square, the red light district and the oldest streets of the city. We will start the walk from your hotel, train station or your cruise boat. If you need transportation from the cruise terminal, that can be arranged as well. Personally, I am very interested in history, world war II, art and the city's geography. This will definitely come out during the walk. I can not tell you where the best souvenir- or chocolate shops are located but I can tell you how old each building is, which streets are former dikes or former canals, where and how the deported Jewish people, I can show you where Vincent van Gogh went to church, where Rembrandt made his paintings, tell you why the churches have their current names and why Amsterdam has canals and why the canals were built as they are now. And I do like questions!
