Hello everybody, I'm Gaia . My name means happy and actually I'm very happy because I do the most beautiful job in the world: I'm a tour guide! I have a deep passion for art and in particular for painting. After classical/art studies I graduated in Law. But culture and history remained my passion. Thanks to my parents I had a childhood immersed in the history of art, from the ancient Roman and Greek myths to the contemporary and modern art. This upbringing has transformed me in a guide specialized in museum. To guarantee you a high-quality service I decided to follow a course to become an official guide in The Netherlands and I'm proud to be a member of this association. During my study I could deepen my knowledge of subjects such art, history and the famous water management. I'm a big fan of the famous Golden Age period and the many things that developed during that time: the 17th century. In particular, the beautiful paintings by Rembrandt and other great artists which are a true highlight. I love to show people around and to let them fall in love with Amsterdam and the the other wonderful places in The Netherlands. But my opinion is that a tour is not only share knowledge about history, art and coulture but create a meaningful and personal experience. I love to build a genuine connection with travellers! I love to create memorable experiences for everyone involved in a tour: also for kids and teenagers to whom I feel particulary connected sharing with them my enthusiasm in a light-hearted way. I'm particulary suitable for group of friends, family tours but also for travellers with particulars need and attention as people with limited mobility. La nostra guida Gaia in tre ore ci ha fatto conoscere, a piedi, i luoghi principali del centro di Amsterdam. Nel tragitto verso i luoghi classici Piazza Dam, Beginhof, Singel, ci mano a mano che si procedeva, ci faceva notare anche i particolari delle case, dei canali, delle piazze e dei ponti tenendo un passo consono alle nostre possibilità ( un gruppo di 10 persone over). Nella sua spiegazione ha inserito anche racconti e curiosità sulla città e sui Paesi Bassi. Abbiamo molto apprezzato la sua visita guidata ad Amsterdam e la ringraziamo molto per la sua cordialità.
