Amsterdam Bike tour: Extended Version

I booked the extended tour & thoroughly enjoyed riding around Amsterdam with Jan. He is so knowledgeable about history and building architecture. I loved it! It was raining the morning when we were set to start & he phoned to ask if I had flexibility to wait til afternoon, which was perfect and we avoided the rain. He was happy to customize my tour, stop to look at something, take photos, and answer my endless questions. It was fun to experience the bicycling culture in Amsterdam with Jan doing the driving! It was my first visit to Amsterdam, and I felt like I got a good introduction to this beautiful city. The tour was accurately described; the booking, pickup, and tour went exactly as described. Highly recommend.

Jan was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a rickshaw tour and he picked us up at the ship and returned us to the doorway. When it started raining he made sure we were warm and dry. We saw so many wonderful sights that we would have missed but Jan took us to many places we did not know about. He is very personable and speaks wonderful English.

Jan was great. We saw a vast part of Amsterdam and learned much about the history and architecture as well as other tidbits. It is also nice to cover so much ground aa leisurely pace but not need to walk long distances. We would recommend him highly!
