Keukenhof is one of the largest flower gardens in the world. At the 'Garden of Europe', enjoy a peaceful stroll through the colorful park and be amazed by the lively rainbow of more than seven million flowers, planted by hand. I will guide you through the first hour of our visit, around the most beautiful part of the park, and show you the different tulip and flowers specimens, make some memorable pictures of you, visit the off the beaten track Orchids pavilion, and share my knowledge, insiders tips, historical facts and love for the tulips & flowers displace. I can answer all your questions about the historical grounds here and how Keukenhof developed through the years, Keukenhof features more than 20 flower shows! Every year there are new species to admire, which we will scout together, and enjoy For children, it has a maze, a playground, a Miffy house, and a petting zoo. *This tour is set as 4 people maximum. We had a wonderful tour of the lands north of Amsterdam guided by Dina who knew where the best sights would be without crowds of tourists. She connected the fight against the sea with the windmills, wooden shoes and the agricultural richness of the reclaimed soil for growing produce as well as tulips. We visited quaint towns and an old seaport with many classic boats and a rich history. Along with her charm and intellect, she added a love of the area as well as help for our visit to Amsterdam. We booked the half day Keukenhof Gardens excursion but also added a lunch stop and visit to the Clogs and Cheese Farm. Dina was very accommodating for little extra expense and it really added to the trip. She spent the entirety of our walk through Keukenhof with us and based on the size of the gardens it was extremely helpful. She knew where to go, what to see and offered information throughout. The car ride was a little cramped for the four of us but was comfortable and entertaining nevertheless.
